I am a BACP registered therapist who holds a Level 4 diploma in Integrative Counselling. I work online and one-on-one with clients using mainly a person centred model. This means my focus is on creating a safe, non judgemental, warm relationship where you can feel free to explore whatever might be bringing you to counselling. I am also trained in integrating aspects of psychodynamic therapy meaning together we can look back at how past experiences may have impacted the way you feel today.
I have many hours of experience working with adults and young people in a community setting and have recently worked as a school counsellor in a busy secondary school seeing young people aged between 11 and 18.
I work with a wide range of issues including challenging family relationships, low mood, work related issues, anxiety, health related issues, low self-esteem, self-harm and depression. I am experienced in counselling neuro-divergent young people and their parents as they come to terms with neuro-divergent diagnoses.
